   The doll is smaller than advertised: about 6.5 inches. The box is 10 x 4.5 x 3 inches.
   Having a small posable doll was not a problem. I do wish the eyes were drawn on farther apart,
   like the Madeline pictures in the book and the other cloth dolls.

   I bought the Madeline Poseable Doll and Genevieve Soft Toy set for a birthday, and it was the perfect addition to our “Madeline in Paris” theme!    I’m so accustomed to toys that look nice in photos but turn out to be of poor quality. That was not the case with this item. The doll is made from durable materials and fabrics. She is posable. The quality reminds me of the way dolls used to be made. I examined the packaging to find out where it was manufactured, but found nothing. If you are looking for a Madeline doll that delivers on promise, this is definitely it. My 4 year old granddaughter loves her and the dog. I gave it to her for Christmas, along with the hardcover book. She enjoys it so much.

    My two year old is a HUGE Madeline fan! LOVES the books and old cartoons. This was a big success for Christmas. She immediately wanted to take off her gloves, hat and coat, and play. Genevieve is a little stuffed puppy, which when I looked at the picture I was expecting a dog that was plastic or rubber with a fuzzy outside, but the stuffed dog is perfect (even better for my 2 year old fan). I ended up putting the gloves in a safe spot because she didn’t want them on her, but overall I love the proportions and shaping of the doll.

    The Madeline board books are beautiful and I can picture her Mom reading them to her at bedtime.

    My wife and I bought this for our two year old daughter who loves Madeline and Genevieve sooo much……AND she LOVES this! This is beautiful and well constructed with fine craftsmanship and adorable acessories…but the Genavieve pup is just outstanding!
