   Tl;dr: Kit is high quality with no missing pieces. Glue is required. Build time approx 8 hours. Electronics are functional and easy to handle.

   I received this kit as a valentine’s gift and had so much fun building it. The quality is much better than my boyfriend had expected. All of the pieces fit together, though some required some gentle tapping to fit together just right, and a couple required a little glue to ensure they were together securely. It probably took around 8 hours to complete, and all pieces were present, as well as some extra cats to place wherever I wanted, and a couple spare parts. All of the lights function perfectly and easily fit into their spaces without wires showing. I can’t wait to get another kit, because this was so much fun. If you or someone you know enjoys lego kits, but wants something a little different/cuter, this is a great kit that scratches that same itch!

   Great little book nook. It arrived on time with all the pieces and no damage. Fun project for a weekend or late evening if you like to get a project done all in one sitting. I’m still a beginner, so it was a little bit difficult and took me much longer than 4 hours total to complete it, but it wasn’t overly hard, just challenging. Pieces all came out pretty well, none broke while popping them out. Materials felt like good quality. Would definitely recommend.

   This is a well designed kit, with most pieces contained within 7 pressboard sheets. The pieces have good coloring and form, and are easy to punch out of the perforated sheets. You must punch out the pieces as you go along, as each one has a number next to it on the sheet that is referenced in the instructions. There’s also a dust cover, fake foliage, and a sticker sheet to make tiny books, all of them cute, vintage kitty themes. The instruction guide is 18 full size pages of black/grey graphics that are detailed, but still difficult to visualize. The kits with color instructions are much easier to deal with. You must pay extra close attention to the piece numbers to make sure you’ve got the correct pieces, because the visual in the guide doesn’t really help with identification. The included lighting unit takes 3 AA batteries, not supplied. Overall, this is a great kit with a cute theme, and I recommend it for ages 12 and over.

   This is absolutely adorable. The detail is really good and theres enough pieces to make it feel full. It was so fun to build. I dont reall like that the outside says 2024. I do love that it has a dust cover and that the orientation is a little diffrent then most other nooks. I also like that it comes with a couple non wood pieces. The instructions are black and white basic images. Not actual photos. Make sure to pay attention to the symbol that says which side has the print on it. Overall very happy with this, and honestly it’s cats, how can it not be adorbal! 😀
