This was easy to assemble and is very durable (with the exception of the ladder – my kids accidently broke the part that attaches to the beds within a week). I am not concerned with that since the ladder was for aesthetic vs functionality. My girls American Girl Dolls fit perfectly on these and they can decide to keep them as a bunk bed or separate them into two beds on the floor. The beds are sturdy but not too heavy that my daughters (ages 3 and 4) can stack them or separate them and move them around. Overall it is great for the price (beats the cost of actual American Girl Doll bed stickers prices) and is still great quality!

I buy a lot of wooden toys, and some obviously cut corners despite being expensive. These bunk beds were very well packaged, went together perfectly, and are very very sturdy! The quality is better than Melissa and Doug’s newer products, and the colors are so much gentler and more pleasant. The beds are also very large! An 18″ baby doll fits perfectly, or alternatively, about 16 small stuffed animals 😂.

I had been looking into dolly beds for my daughter and everything I was seeing in stores looked like overpriced, cheap junk. Two plastic beds at Wal-Mart would’ve been about $40. Not worth it! Very cute little bed but a few issues with how it goes together. The two bunks aren’t attached and neither is the ladder, they just rest in place. Also the piece that holds the canopy doesn’t stay on (not attached, just rests on the edge of the bed) and I find myself constantly reassembling it to how it is supposed to look
