   Do not buy! My daughter got this from the Easter bunny and after a couple of days the eyelash fell off. I did a return and DollsByDorcel sent a new one and not even 24 hours later the new babies eyelash is falling off. My daughter is 7 she’s not rough with it, in her mind it’s her “real” baby so she’s careful!

   2 babies now that have eyelashes falling off. She is so disappointed. It’s such a cute baby. I’m scared to glue it and mess it up or get glue everywhere. Plus, I shouldn’t have to glue it. It should be perfect, especially for $50.

   I am torn between 4 and 5 stars for this baby. She comes in a nice box for gift giving, with her own magnetic binky and a baby bottle as well as a small hospital type ID bracelet and a diaper. She is also anatomically correct, though not overly so. She is pretty cute, but where I was at first hesitant on giving 5 stars is because she is all vinyl and not soft and cuddly and flexible like you would want a newborn to be. This is my first experience with one of these type dolls, so maybe that it asking too much. I will say the vinyl is soft to the touch and the legs and arms do move up and down, though they do not flex, so you cannot straighten the arms and legs. She is realistic in length (20 inches) for a real baby and she has a little more weight than a normal doll, weighing a whopping 2.75 lbs! (FYI, She did NOT come with the toy pictured in the advertisement, nor any other toy.) The reason I finally did opt for 5 stars is because the girls (age 9 & 11) love her! The 11 year old gave up dolls almost a year ago, but when she saw this one, she couldn’t keep her hands off of her and packed her around for 2 solid hours. The 9 year old is a baby doll connoisseur and she loves her! In looking at other dolls like this, I find that it is a good value for the dollar and so overall, I think we are quite happy with this baby!

   This doll is fun and my kid loves it, but it’s not quite as realistic as some other reborn dolls—and honestly, it’s a tiny bit creepy in a weird way! Still a great gift!

   This baby doll is all vinyl with moveable arms, legs and head. She is hollow and her torso can be easily squished. Air will come out of her “joints”. She would not be waterproof submerged in a tub but will hold up fine to a sponge bath. She has a very nice shaped head and beautiful open eyes. She has an oddly healed looking umbilicus. She is described as a “newborn” but has been dressed in an outfit that says “I’m the big sister.” I suppose that could be if she was a twin, but realistically it makes no sense. She is anatomically correct with slightly more detail than most, but still reasonably modest. She’s a pretty doll and priced within the appropriate range for her quality.

   I brought this into my workplace of women and was immediately offered cash for it (it’s for my granddaughter). DollsByDorcel made a sale that day. The “soft spot” on the silky feeling head won everyone over, as well as the realistic fingernails and toenails. Flat out adorable. Has a magnetized pacifier that sits on the mouth, although it should be a stronger magnet. My personal negative for this doll is the plastic body. It allows the doll to stay sitting upright, but I much prefer the heavy, weighted, squishy ones that makes me feel like I have a real baby in my arms (which works very well in an Alzheimer’s unit).

   Such a cute doll! It looks so real, my mother in law keeps thinking it’s a real baby. Her skin is soft and she is easy to dress in different clothes. It feels like a real baby when holding and weighs about the same as a real baby of this age and size. The included accessories add to the quality of the overall “reborn baby” experience. I would recommend this doll to anyone who is having baby fever, has been recommended reborn babies for therapy, or anyone needed a realistic doll for children’s apparel photoshoots.
