   My 10yo daughter absolutely loves her!! She has a few faint veins, and has a good weight and squishy limbs enough to satisfy her. She can fit newborn clothes and possibly even premie as some of the nb ones seem slightly too big.

   I gave 4 stars because I feel she could have a few more realistic touches added like squishier limbs, more veins, and realistic hair would be a nice touch rather than painted (but my daughter doesn’t seem to mind too much). Her head also seems just a little small in proportion to the body. But her face and hands and feet are better than some others I was considering and look rather realistic in color and position. She is very very cute and really happy with this purchase.

   I’m too old for dolls (if there actually is such a thing as being too old for dolls), but my dear father and my wonderful brother recently died only a year apart from one another, so I thought having a doll to hug and hold might help in some way. I ordered this one with the blue clothing. I’ve never had a Reborn doll before so I have nothing to compare this one to but I do think this one is very sweet with lots of nice details, including lifelike eye lashes. Her hair is painted onto her head but looks almost real. She has tiny ears and pudgy, rosy cheeks. Her left hand is positioned as though she may suck her thumb but there is no way to put her thumb in her mouth, since her mouth is closed. Her eyes are also closed and do not open (I wish they did) and her feet are wrinkly so that you almost want to bite them! (I know I sound crazy right now–lol.) This doll is truly 18 inches, making it easy to order additional clothing for her, and I already did get a pink knit outfit for her that came with the cute pink knit bunny in my photos. She’s also a good weight so that it feels like you’re holding an actual baby. It also appears that there is a magnet in this doll’s mouth so that you can place the pacifier on her face and it will cling (see photo–she is in an upright position). One thing I don’t love is her filled cloth body but it’s my fault for not paying closer attention to the description that clearly states this is what this doll has. It is soft, though, and would be nice for young children who want to squeeze and hug this doll. Her head does not turn but her arms and legs can be moved. Overall, this doll is adorable. I like her and would recommend her to others, as long as they’re not looking for a more realistic body.
