   My daughter loves Calico Critters. We have many different toys of this company. I decided to get this one, so she can learn about health and how important it is to take care of your health. When I play with her using this set, I create different toy situations. I show what happen when person does not care about health and body in general. It is fun to play with set but she realized that it is not fun to get sick.

   This set was a hit with my 5 year old grand daughter. She loves it, and uses it all the time in role play activities she does at home. It was a good investment I feel, given she actually uses it and it is encouraging emotional intelligence, language development, creativity, storytelling and even literacy skills because she is writing the stories down she makes with her Calico Critter sets in a writers notebook we are keeping. She loves using the wheelchair and the tiny things in the doctors kit to help her Critters and other toys used in the stories. 5 stars for us!

   When I saw this I had to order two sets for my granddaughters. Both of them have either had a cast or had to use crutches because of accidents. The cast and crutches fit perfectly on the Calico critters and the doctor’s instruments are beyond perfect. They both have so enjoyed playing doctor with this set.
