   I just love the peaceful face sculpt on this dolly, the June (Blorange) is gorgeous! She came with several very cute items, her beach bag was a highlight, it even has removable charms. Her outfit is pretty and her shoes are cute. Love that hat! But I really ordered because of the doll, not the extras. I wanted the particular sculpt/paint. I like that she’s curvy too. Her hair is beautiful, wavy and soft. Yes, she had box hair and some product but that’s easy to sort. (You can sometimes comb it out, but you may need to shampoo/condition it, boilwash is often preferred.) If you lift the hair you do see the scalp but only if you are actually lifting the hair and trying to see the rooting. Her flowing tresses do not look/feel thin at all. When I ordered her she was on sale and a wonderful value. I don’t keep dolls in box but many do – her box was perfectly fine for collecting. Just the tiny scuffs on the plastic, no bumps or dents. She was securely sealed inside and had never been removed before. Five Stars

   Beautiful doll. The only negative, to me, is the body. The head is gorgeous–perfect. But why, oh why, has Mattel started doing this “articulated” body thing with so many dolls? It looks like Ken has been pieced together on Dr. Frankenstein’s operating table in a night storm. It seems it would be better to have a doll without all these bends and twists to their joints in order to have a truly pretty, and sturdy, doll to have for years to come. Still, one can always put Ken’s head here on another sturdier Ken body–I guess making us all Dr. Frankenstein, in a way. Ha. : )
