   Item arrived with slight damage that I was able to fix with wood glue. The items do not line up and it is poorly made. I was able to modify it since I am handy but shouldn’t have to on a new item. Was my daughters birthday present so not to thrilled with the product at all.

   I had no problem assembling this; the instructions are clear, and everything lined up well. The trundle bed is an issue. It was difficult to keep it in place while rolling it under the upper sofa, and could be pushed through to the other side easily. We put clips on the back of the sofa to prevent it from sliding past the sofa back. We added two pieces of 3/4” quarter round wood to both sides of the sofa to make it easier to keep the trundle bed in place. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the outcome, and would rate 4.5 stars if possible.

   I loved the look of the product when I initially saw it. It feels very solid. I’m very thankful for the YouTube assembly video because I was a bit lost. Because of the video, I realized that part H of the trundle was defective. Instead of 16 holes for the wheels there is only 8. I can only use two wheels. The trundle underneath is lopsided. I’m very disappointed.

   The bed is very cute, easy to assemble, even though I have 4 screws that were no listed in the instructions. So not sure what they’re for. Also, both bed arms have 3 small holes on them as shown in the photo. I looked on the actual pictures from the item on DollsByDorcel and I didn’t see the holes there but I looked closely at some photos others who bought the bed and posted and I can see the same holes on their bed too. I doubt my granddaughter will care but I don’t like the look of them. Other than that the bedding is full of hanging strings. Just clipped them and the bed looks adorable.

   Bought this for my grandaughter and love it ! Great quality, easily assembly at a fantastic price. Happy not to have to open a line of credit to afford the American Girl version.
